The meaning of the word ecology
ECOLOGY The word comes from Greek OIKOS
= "Place where one lives or home" and
LOGOS = "study"
Etymologically means the study of place where one lives .

According to the definition proposed by Haeckel, Ecology indicates the body of knowledge on the economy of nature , in other words, the research total animal relationships with both organic and inorganic environment , which include mostly friendly and hostile relationship with the animals and plants with which it comes into contact directly or indirectly.
